Coptic Christian Bus Attack Appeal
We have launched an appeal to provide vital aid for families affected by the brutal attack on a bus carrying Coptic Christians to the Monastery of St Samuel the Confessor in Upper Egypt on 25 May.
28 people were killed, and 25 were seriously injured when the bus was ambushed by IS militants, who fired automatic rifles at point blank range when passengers refused to denounce their faith.
It was an indiscriminate attack on men, women and children that has devastated the lives of people in a country where life is already precarious enough.
Funds will go towards relieving financial pressures on families adjusting to bereavement, disabilities and loss of income as a result of this senseless attack.
